We came in after hours and he made it very easy with texted pictures and even follow up well after he left to make sure we got in an ok great location to walk to town and take in the Navy in Norfolk. He turned us on to "Grain" a bar/restaurant on the 5 floor roof of the Hilton and it was AWESOME! It's nice to know reviews are read. , SV Nova, Easy in and out. Will be back 100% for sure. The docks are meticulously maintained. First class operation, good fresh water, good 100 amp power, WIFI has never worked. Seth was very attentive upon our arrival. We were a late arrival, but the last remaining young lady volunteered to stay late to receive us. The floating docks had power issues with it being wired 220 not 240 volts so they moved us to the fixed wall and all was perfect. Well be back to Waterside for sure. It is a bit of a walk to bathroom and shower. In stead he held the line and was no match for the wind blowing us off the finger. Lots to do in Norfolk. No fuel facility, but thats not an issue. But, still enjoyed our stay. But friday evening, a DJ started blasting rock concert-loud music next to our slip as the marina turned into a big summer music venue for hundreds of party-goers. We've been to a number of marina's nearby at the entry to the Intercoastal - this should be the spot where you stop. The wifi was spotty on connectivity and the powers on the dock was problematic that we had to switch power posts and the. This should be a must-stop for any boater going through the area. Really enjoyed the fireworks for the Fourth of July, but REALLY wish the marina docks were closed off to the public or monitored better by staff.
